This is a great choice for a relaxing family holiday and a great base from which to explore the stunning cost and the unspoilt countryside.Stranraer is just 10 miles away and is a good place for a day trip with its leisure centre offering a range of facilities and activities and a selection of shops. Facilities at Whitecairn Holiday Park include an indoor heated pool which is great for rainy days and a kid's play area where the little ones can run around and make friends. Trout fishing is also available on the lake at a small charge.
Accommodation is in either modern caravans which are well equipped and great fro smaller families or stylish, luxury lodges with two or three bedrooms and all the mod cons such as TV/DVD players. Galloway Caravans are good for smaller families and have two bedrooms while Highland 3 lodges are great for larger families being spacious and having three bedrooms as well as a washing machine.
