Plas Talgarth sits in a stunning location in acres of parkland and is a peaceful place from which to explore the beautiful sights of Snowdonia. Close to Machynlleth and Aberystwyth, there are numerous beaches nearby and a traditional steam railway, the Tall-y-llyn. A Hoseasons active break location, this park has some excellent facilities.
There are two heated swimming pools, indoor and outdoor, tennis courts, table tennis and squash courts. The site also has a spa pool and sauna, solarium and steam room and there are beauty treatments available. With a bar with evening entertainment, a children's activity programme, not to mention a restaurant and takeaway, you'll never be short of things to do at Plas Talgarth!
13th century Criccieth Castle is a wonderful sight to behold with its twin-towered gatehouse that sits on top of a rocky hill over Tremadog Bay. Powys is a great place to hike and bike with some beautiful mountain roads and Portmeirion is the well known, colourful village created by Welsh architect Clough Williams-Ellis.
The Plas Talgarth Villa accommodates six people and has a bath with overhead shower and a dishwasher. The Manor House Apartment sleeps two to four people with a sofa bed in the lounge and has a tv and dvd player.
