Close to the centre of Rhyl with its three miles of gorgeous sandy beach, Marine Park is a superb caravan park, with loads of facilities and activities on site, from swimming to live entertainment. Mold and Llandudno are both within 20 miles of the park and there is archery, sailing and golfing within reach.
The tropical heated indoor swimming pool and all-weather multi-sports court are great fun for all the family and there is a kids' club and a pirate club to keep the youngsters amused. The site has a poolside bar and a club that stages evening entertainment and there is also a convenience shop and launderette.
About 13 miles away in Deganwy Conwy, the Vue Restaurant offers great Welsh produce and regional and seasonal food. For keen walkers there are fabulous footpaths at Pentrefoelas and Groes - and there are two zoos within reach, at Colwyn Bay and Chester. The Welsh Mountain Zoo has snow leopards, sumatran tigers and bearded dragons!
