Within easy reach of Margate, Ramsgate, Whitstable and Canterbury, this tranquil holiday park is just a short walk from a lovely pebbled beach. There is loads to see and do in the area, including golf, riding, cycling and of course, eating and drinking at the many pubs and restaurants locally.
Waterways has a large indoor swimming pool, a bar, clubhouse, amusement arcade and launderette. During the main season, there is also weekend family entertainment. A short drive away in Whitstable, The Crab & Winkle, an award winning seafood restaurant, is right on the harbour and open every day of the week.
Kent is full of delightful villages, stately homes and gardens and fascinating towns and cities. Dickens' World at Chatham Maritime is a good family day out with its dark boat ride, haunted house and adventure playground, whilst Canterbury and Broadstairs are excellent for shopping. The Wildwood nature reserve at Herne Bay has owls, beavers, wild boar and otters plus some great family activities and events.
The Waterways Gold is a comfortable 12 foot caravan that sleeps four people in one double and one twin bedroom with additional sleeping for two in the lounge area. It has a flat screen tv and dvd with Freeview and a kitchen with microwave, fridge and freezer.
