Set within 22 acres of landscaped grounds, with an abundance of wildlife, Rookley Country Park is beautifully situated for exploring the Isle of Wight. A Hoseasons specially selected active break location, the park has some great facilities and Ventnor, Cowes and Newport are all within easy travelling distance.
The site has an indoor and outdoor heated swimming pool and there are two well stocked fishing lakes suitable for both beginners and experienced anglers. The Lakeside restaurant is ideal for evening meals and the Midnight Bar offers live entertainment every evening. There is even a weekly firework display throughout July and August!
Newport's gem of a golf course is set on the downs and surrounded by amazing views to Portsmouth and Southampton. The area is rich with pubs and restaurants - Carters Bar & Restaurant in Shanklin has a first class menu - and there is nature and wildlife all around. Duriston Country Park in Swanage spans 113 hectares and has sea cliffs, woodland and meadows.
