With coastal footpaths, great walks and beaches on the doorstep, Field Lane is set amidst seven acres of delightful grounds and just a short distance away from St Helen's, a traditional coastal village. Ryde, Sandown and Shanklin are all within easy travelling distance and the peaceful town of Bembridge is also close by with a good selection of pubs, restaurants and shops.
The lovely rural setting of St Helen's offers a gentle and relaxing taste of village life with leisurely cricket matches on the village green. Guests at Field Lane can enjoy the facilities at adjoining Hillgrove Park, which include a large outdoor heated swimming pool.
Ventnor has some excellent restaurants, like Steephill Cove with its superb reputation for locally produced food. There are some great cycle paths too - The Sunshine Trail at Sandown takes you off road near the ruins of Appuldurcombe House and with 60 miles of unspoilt beaches on the island, you can try your hand at windsurfing, jet skiing, sailplane flying and hang gliding!
The Field Lane Super 3 is a three bedroom caravan for six with heating throughout and a well equipped kitchen. The Field Lane Super 2 has two bedrooms. Travel cots and highchairs can be hired and all the accommodation is non-smoking.
