This tranquil, family run park sits within mature woodland just over a mile from the beautiful beaches at Sandown and Shanklin. It is well placed for exploring the island's many attractions and just four miles from Ventnor, one of the sunniest spots on the Isle of Wight. Newport and Cowes are within easy travelling distance.
The park has a clubhouse with family entertainment and there are bridleways adjoining Cheverton Copse as well as an airstrip used for pleasure flights. There is a children's play area and a games room with pool tables and video machines. Keats Cottage in Shanklin, under two miles away, serves excellent food and fine wines in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere.
The Botanic Gardens at Ventnor is a great educational day out and there are lots of unusual plants to see. Newport has a gem of a golf course with beautiful views out towards Portsmouth and Southampton and there is ice skating at Gosport, water cannons at Romsey and scuba diving at Christchurch. The Steephill Cove Café at Ventnor serves deliciously fresh, locally produced food.
The Surrey Silver sleeps six adults and two children and has a tv and good kitchen with microwave. The Dorset Silver Plus sleeps four people in two bedrooms and high chairs can be hired.
