There are shops and takeaways in Wareham just over a mile away, and restaurants, bars, theatres and shopping in Poole, Swanage and Bournemouth, all within easy travelling distance.
At Monkey World in Dorset, there are 65 acres of sanctuary for over 160 primates - and at Bournemouth Aviation Museum, you can view a unique collection of ex-military and civilian aircraft. Highcliffe Castle in Christchuch was built in the 1830s and the European stained glass is a must see. The Landmarc Restaurant Theatre in Bournemouth hosts 'evening experiences' for all ages.
