A Hoseasons active break, Hunters Quay is right beside the Holy Loch and the Firth of Clyde with Oban, Inveraray and the Scottish Lochs all within easy reach. It offers the best of both worlds - relax, walk and enjoy the scenery or get involved with some of the many activities available.
This really is 'wild Argyll' because you are surrounded by glens full of wildlife and an abundance of walks on your doorstep. But there's also a superb leisure complex with bars, restaurants, two indoor swimming pools, a badminton court, snooker tables and table tennis, plus a weekend entertainments programme and two children's play areas.
Argyll is steeped in history and visits to Rothesay Castle, Dunagoll Vitrified Fort or Inveraray Jail are great days out for the whole family. There is quad biking at Blairmore, paintballing at Fenwick and paragliding at Strathwillan - and some great local seafood restaurants to visit too.
Hunters Quay has caravans and lodges that sleep up to seven people. Oak Lodge has three bedrooms, one double, one twin and one with bunk beds - and the caravans have access to selected satellite channels. Unfortunately, the site has steep gradients and steps so isn't suitable for wheelchair users or people with severe mobility difficulties.
