The Bay is a new development of luxurious holiday cottages and apartments in the pretty coastal town of Filey. The accommodation is set within 150 acres of wonderful landscaped grounds and there is a beautiful long sandy blue flag beach right on the door step. There is an excellent public house serving great food including fish specialities such as tempura battered prawns and traditional fish pie in a warm and welcoming environment complete with open fires.
The seaside resort of Filey is just 3 miles away and is a great place to enjoy traditional British sea side holidays with a good selection of shops restaurants and pubs as well as fish and chip shops! Filey oozes traditional seaside charm and is popular with families during the summer months. The larger resort of Scarborough is also just a short drive away with its vibrant nightlife and wonderful beach.
There are many types of accommodation on offer at The Bay including cottages such as The Maritime which has three bedrooms and a traditional two storey lay out with open plan lounge/diner. The Clipper is a two bedroom cottage which was newly built in 2008 and offers elegant accommodation with an outside patio. There is also a selection of apartments available such as the Solo which is perfect for couples with an open plan living area and double bedroom.
