This is a spectacular setting amidst lakes and beautiful landscaped gardens that hold a David Bellamy Gold Award for Conservation. The park is a Hoseasons active break location - and it's just six miles from Berwick-upon-Tweed where you can walk around the amazing Elizabethan town walls, visit Lindisfarne Castle and cross the causeway to the Holy Island's heritage centre.
Haggerston has two indoor pools, a water slide, spa treatment rooms and a nine hole golf course. You can hire bikes and go karts or go on the high ropes and climbing wall. Paxton House was built in 1758, and overlooks the River Tweed. This wonderful country park has walks, nature trails, a croquet lawn, two adventure play parks and wildlife viewing hides for red squirrels. The Obio Bar & Bistro on the harbour front of Eyemouth serves light snacks and meals all day and is a relaxing place to sit and watch the world go by.
