Tarnside Park is in the small village of Braystones and right next to the beach with great sea views. The caravans are set around a freshwater lake in the centre and there is both sea and freshwater fishing available. It's well situated for Cockermouth, Keswick, Ambleside and the rest of the lakes.
Tarnside has a clubhouse and bar, a children's play area and a launderette and conveniently, there is a railway station on the site. It's an extremely peaceful location, but within easy reach of great walks, wonderful views, outdoor activities and plenty of places to eat and drink.
At Windermere, there are all day cruises on the lake and the Cedar Manor is a lovely place for a drink or meal after enjoying the spectacular scenery. St Bee's Beach is perfect for young children who can play in the rock pools and older children will love Climb 365 with its family adventure days. The Revenglass Railway runs for seven miles through two lovely valleys to Dalegarth.
The Tarnside Swan sleeps six people in three bedrooms. The Mallard has two bedrooms and all the caravans have televisions and well equipped kitchens with microwaves. Travel cots and highchairs are available to hire and all accommodation is non-smoking.
