Solway sits in a beautiful spot close to Silloth, a peaceful Victorian seaside resort. It's wonderfully situated for easy travel to the Northern Lakes and Hadrians Wall, surrounded by lovely countryside and with excellent facilities close by. Solway is a Hoseasons specially selected active breaks location.

There is an indoor fun pool with spa and jacuzzi, an all-weather football pitch and a mini two lane bowling alley. The Village also has licensed clubs with entertainment, a children's club and play area, 9 Hole Golf Course, heated leisure pool with Spa - and a shop and laundrette on site.

The Theatre by the Lake in Keswick runs professional shows all year round and Keswick itself is a favourite for climbers and walkers. The Forest of Ae in Dumfries is a popular venue for mountain bikers of all abilities and at Wordsworth House and Garden in Cockermouth, you can meet the servants and help them to cook in the working Georgian kitchen!

The Ullswater Chalet is a beautifully appointed bungalow that sleeps four people and the North Lake Lodge is deluxe accommodation with one double, one twin and one single bedroom. The Orlando is a 12 foot caravan, double glazed and centrally heated with additional sleeping for two in the lounge area.
