Seven Acres sits within two miles of the sandy beaches at Seascale and Drigg - and right in the middle of two lovely villages, Holmrook and Gosforth. The Eskdale and Wasdale valleys are a beautiful base from which to explore the Lake District and Keswick and Ambleside are both within 20 miles of the park.
Cockermouth and Windermere are within driving distance of the park and there are village shops, pubs and restaurants within easy reach. Across the lakes you'll find watersports, cycling, walking and many places of interest to visit, such as Muncaster Castle at Revenglass and Wordsworth's House and Garden at Cockermouth.
The beautiful nature reserve at Leighton Moss sits in an area of outstanding natural beauty and provides a habitat for marsh harriers, avocets and bearded tits. The beautifully designed golf course at St Bees has some great views out to sea and in Windermere, you can water ski, windsurf and sail on the lake. Head to the Jumble Room in Grasmere for superb food and a warm, friendly atmosphere.
The Eskdale Caravan has two bedrooms while the Wasdale sleeps 6 people in three bedrooms. All the caravans have TV and well equipped kitchen with microwaves and fridge freezers. Travel cots and highchairs can be hired.
