Explore the delightful countryside of the Peak District from your base in the village of Two Dales. These lovely cottages are within walking distance of the village pub and just seven miles from Bakewell with its shopping, restaurants and walks over stunning moors.
Chatsworth House, Haddon Hall and Alton Towers are all within comfortable driving distances and there are some local shops within a quarter of a mile. The area is great for outdoor activities, such as fishing, golf and riding and there are some nice places to eat in Chesterfield, such as The Old Post Restaurant and Bateman's Mill.
Chesterfield also has the Crooked Spire Church which is steeped in history and well worth a visit. The Derwent Valley Mills in Belper is a World Heritage Site and stretches 15 miles down the river and the shopping is great at the Peak Village Shopping Centre in Rowsley just a couple of miles away.
Brook Cottage (1) is a stone built one bedroom cottage with a double four poster bed and a quaint patio area. The Haven B is a semi-detached chalet bungalow with a double four poster, corner bath and one twin room with ensuite shower. It's accessible for partially disabled visitors.
