Wroxham, the 'Capital of Broadland' is within walking distance with an array of shops, hotels, restaurants and pubs.
Moorings are available on request and guests can enjoy exclusive fishing rights from the river's edge. Boat hire is available and there is golfing and horse riding nearby. Roys of Wroxham is known as 'the largest village store in the world', and can keep you occupied for hours shopping for everything from gifts and clothes to food.
The Ratcatcher's Inn at Cawston is a great gastropub that serves traditional home cooked food. Norwich is just 7 miles away with its wonderful castle, many museums, shops and bars. The Peninsula 1 is a two storey cottage for two. It has French windows opening out onto a private terrace and a galleried twin bedroom. The Peninsula 3 sleeps six people in three bedrooms and has a balcony and a bath with overhead shower.
