Just a short drive from the lively resort of Great Yarmouth with its shops, bars and pavement cafés, Cherry Tree sits in a magnificent rural setting with a host of excellent facilities. Horsey, Wroxham and Norwich are easily accessible and there are wonderful sandy beaches at Calster-on-Sea, Scratby and Lowestoft.

Great Yarmouth is the third best beach for building sandcastles, according to a 2004 survey, plus it has crazy pirate golf, pony rides, bouncy castles, bowling and amusement arcades. There is coarse fishing at Waveney Valley Lakes and ice skating at Norwich, not to mention great shopping at Roys of Wroxham and at Snape Maltings in Aldeburgh.
