Lime Tree Park stands in its own valley, next to a limestone gorge and with a gorgeous old viaduct as a stunning backdrop. It is in the heart of the Peak District and close to the historic spa town of Buxton with its beautiful buildings. Castleton and Bakewell have a wide range of visitor attractions too and are easily accessible.
There is a well equipped children's play area and a shop with excellent information for tourists. The site also has a tv lounge, pool table and launderette facilities. There are plenty of pubs and restaurants within easy travelling distance - The Olde Gate Inn is a 17th century pub in Brassington with a great home cooked menu.
Mansfield has a 700 year old open market at the centre of the town and there is great shopping to be had in the surrounding retail parks and department stores. Chesterfield has some excellent theatres and Harrogate is a delightful town to visit.
