Standing right on the edge of the Loch Lomond and within Scotland's first national park, this fabulous log lodge sleeps six to eight and is beautifully furnished, laid out and equipped. It's in a tranquil setting, yet there are activities like walking, rock climbing, kayaking and golf close by.
The nearby Ardlui Hotel has restaurants, bars and a launderette, and the lodge has a large verandah where you can look out onto the spectacular views. It's practically on the water's edge, so you don't have to travel far to enjoy water-skiing and jet-skiing.
Inveraray's magnificent 18th century castle is about fifteen miles away and you can enjoy oysters and smoked fish at Loch Fyne. A trip to the Mull of Kintyre is a great day out and there are local wildlife centres and safari parks. The Oban Chocolate Company is a must for all chocolate lovers!
The two storey Ardlui Lodge has two double bedrooms, a room with cross over bunk beds and additional sleeping for 2 in the lounge. There is a bath, double shower, sauna and a barbecue area - plus a widescreen TV and DVD with selected satellite channels in the lounge.
