Dacre Lakeside park is a development of stylish lodges set around a 6 acre lake. These luxurious lodges are perfect for romantic breaks and relaxing family holidays. The area around the lodges is one of great natural beauty and there are plenty of outdoor pursuits to enjoy. Activities available in the area include fishing, golf, clay pigeon shooting and jet skiing for the more adventurous. The pretty village of Brandesburton is close by and has a small selection of shops, two pubs and a restaurant.
If you don't want to venture off site you can enjoy the range of activities available on the park including windsurfing, canoeing, tennis and fishing. There is also a games room with video games and pool tables and a club house with bar where you can enjoy a relaxing drink on an evening.
There is a good choice of lodge accommodation available all with outdoor hot tubs, microwaves and dishwashers as well as furnished terrace areas. If you are planning a romantic break for 2 you may wish to stay in the dragonfly waterside lodge. This spacious lodge was new to the park in 2008 and sleeps 2 in a double four poster bedroom. It also has a walk in shower and stunning views over the pond.
If you are travelling in a larger group then the water reed waters edge lodge may be a good option. This three bedroom lodge sleeps up to 6 people and has a spacious living area and views of the lake.
