Just three miles from Montgomery, these charming lodges sit within beautiful woodland in an area that is completely unspoilt and has the rugged splendour of the Welsh mountains to the west. Penllwyn is a Hoseasons active break location and is within easy driving distance of both Powys and Shrewsbury.
Fishing is available on the lake, the Montgomery Canal and the River Severn and there is a nine hole golf course with packages available. The children have their own adventure play area and there is also a shop that sells provisions and souvenirs. Horse riding, bowling, sailing and canoeing are all to be found in the area.
The Parade Shopping Centre at Shrewsbury has 30 unique shops within a Grade II listed Greek Renaissance style building and at Ludlow, you'll find excellent restaurants and of course, Ludlow Castle. Travel by steam train through the beautiful Banwy Valley at The Welshpool and Llanfair Light Railway and enjoy adventure underground at King Arthur's Labyrinth at Machynlleth.
Penllwyn Lodge A has either one double and one twin room or two doubles. It has a tv with dvd and cd player and heating throughout. Penllwyn Lodge D is a single or two storey lodge for up to eight people with either three doubles and a twin - or two doubles and two twin bedrooms.
