This luxurious rural retreat is set on a working farm with a lake, amidst an abundance of wildlife, including deer, badgers and buzzards. Tiverton is just 8 miles away and the picturesque villages of Appledore and Clovelly with their whitewashed cottages and delightful restaurants are both within easy reach.
The park has coarse fishing and children's outdoor play areas. A little further afield, you can learn to scuba dive under the expert tuition of trained instructors at Taunton, play golf on the second oldest course in Somerset at Minehead and go riding at the Red Park Equestrian Centre in Williton.
The beaches in Minehead are perfect for safe bathing, surfing, sailing and even fishing from the shore. North Devon has numerous places of interest - the Coldharbour Mill Working Wool Museum in Uffculme is a rare example of surviving Georgian architecture, industry and enterprise - and when you ride the heritage railway at Seaton, you can take in great views of the wildlife through two beautiful nature reserves.
Durley Lodge provides spacious accommodation for four people. The double bedroom has an ensuite shower and there is a family bathroom with shower and a superb outdoor hot tub on the verandah. All the lodges have tvs with Freeview and dvd players and well equipped kitchens with microwaves, dishwashers and washer/dryers.
