The Lochgoilhead Lodges park is a Hoseasons specially selected active breaks location set in the midst of Loch Lomond and Trossachs. There is a huge range of outdoor activities available in the very close vicinity - free fishing, tennis, golf (on a nine hole course running along the shores of the loch), pony trekking and walking.
The park is attached to the Drimsynie House Hotel where indoor activities such as badminton, ice skating, curling, pool and table tennis are available for much of the year. The hotel also has two restaurants, children's play areas, family entertainment (Karaoke, discos and dinner dances) and a salon offering beauty and hair treatments.
This is a fabulous area for walking and the nearby Arrochar Alps have several peaks over 3,000 feet! A few miles away, you can sample fresh oysters and smoked fish at the Loch Fyne Oyster Bay at Cairndow or go and see how chocolates are made at the Oban Chocolate Company (and then taste some!)
There are eight caravans and lodges in total sleeping between four and six people, set within a landscaped setting known as Kingfisher Village. Highland Ptarmigan 3 is a single storey lodge with part views over Loch Goil.
