The nearby Ardlui Hotel has restaurants, bars and a launderette, and the lodge has a large verandah where you can look out onto the spectacular views. It's practically on the water's edge, so you don't have to travel far to enjoy water-skiing and jet-skiing.
Inveraray's magnificent 18th century castle is about fifteen miles away and you can enjoy oysters and smoked fish at Loch Fyne. A trip to the Mull of Kintyre is a great day out and there are local wildlife centres and safari parks. The Oban Chocolate Company is a must for all chocolate lovers!
The two storey Ardlui Lodge has two double bedrooms, a room with cross over bunk beds and additional sleeping for 2 in the lounge. There is a bath, double shower, sauna and a barbecue area - plus a widescreen TV and DVD with selected satellite channels in the lounge.
