Amidst glorious Welsh countryside and surrounded by rivers, pools and woodland, these luxurious lodges sit within an area of Special Scientific Interest and are a must for nature lovers. There's a wealth of outdoor activities in the area - from pony trekking and horse riding to trout fishing and wonderful walks. The park is within easy travelling distance of Powys and Brecon.

For some great local pubs, head to Rhayader. The Crown Inn is a lovely old pub right in the centre with a great choice of beer and delicious home cooked food - and for a pint of real ale next to a roaring fire, visit The Lamb and Flag Inn.

For a fun night out, go bowling at Ustrike Newton and there's plenty to keep you busy during the daytime too. Powis Castle at Welshpool is home to a collection of treasures from India and Berrington Hall in Leominster is a spectacular house that sits above a wide valley and has beautiful views, countryside walks and ornamental gardens.

Buzzard Lodge is a very comfortable lodge with one double and one twin bedroom. It has a verandah with a private outdoor hot tub and barbecue and a tv with selected satellite channels and dvd player. Fox Lodge is brand new for 2010 and also has a verandah with a private hot tub.
