These lovely lodges sit within protected woodland on a non-working farm - a great 'get away from it all' location. Just 15 miles from Swansea, it's a paradise for lovers of hill walking, fishing and the great outdoors and it's conveniently close to village shops, pubs and takeaways.

There is a children's play area on the park and the surrounding countryside has an extraordinary number of waterfalls. You can try your hand at a whole range of sporting activities at Llandysul Paddlers Canoe Centre, from archery and rock climbing to kayaking.

The Taff Trail runs from Cardiff Bay to the market town of Brecon - traffic free, it's a good cycle route with lots of points of interest along the way. Carmarthen, Cowbridge and Brecon are all easily accessible by car and Carreg Cennen Castle at Llandello has panoramic views of the black mountain and the beautiful Welsh countryside.

Woodpecker Lodge sleeps four people in two bedrooms, with additional sleeping for one person in the lounge area. It is an open plan lodge with central heating and it has a tv and dvd player. Kingfisher VIP was brand new for 2010 and has a private garden area with a covered outdoor hot tub.
