Calvert Trust Lodge Holidays

This is a beautiful setting right in the heart of Kielder Water and Forest. If you're looking for a wonderfully scenic landscape and a tranquil and relaxing holiday, this is a great base for exploring Northumberland National Park and Hadrian's Wall. The park is perfect for wheelchair users and people with disabilities with adapted accommodation and helpful staff.

There is an indoor hydrotherapy pool and a sauna and on-site aromatherapist. The park has lounges and bars, a dining room and games area and takeaway meals are available. Land and water based activities are run by qualified and experienced staff from March to the end of November.

Hermitage Castle in Hawick is a eerie ruin, built in the 14th and 15th centuries and partly restored in the 19th century. Jedforest Deer and Farm Park in Jedburgh is a working farm with some rare breeds of animals and amazing bird of prey demonstrations. For a lovely lunch or evening meal, head to the Queen's Head in Rothbury, a traditional pub surrounded by glorious Northumberland scenery.

Calvert Lodges are extremely spacious and ideal for wheelchair users. They have three twin rooms (or one double and two twins) and one bedroom has an over-bed ceiling hoist. The bath has a fixed hoist and there is a wheel-in shower with a chair and grab rails. The chalets have an additional toilet and an extra bed is available on request.
