Set in 22 acres of beautiful countryside with five fishing lakes, Wooda Lakes is within easy travelling distance of Bude, Bideford and Braunton. The North Devon coastline offers surfing, sailing, canoeing and diving and there is a host of attractions to enjoy - from museums and theatres to castles and shopping centres!
The 1 1/2 acre lakes are well stocked with tench, roach, bream and carp and there is no closed season. The park is a haven of tranquility and an ideal location for a relaxing and unhurried fishing experience. There are plenty of places to eat and drink locally - Decks Restaurant at Instow has beautiful views across the seafront and an AA rosette.
Torrington 1646 is a fun and interesting day out - let yourself be guided by 17th century characters in period costume, acting as though they were living during the Civil War. Lydford Gorge is 1 1/2 miles long and can be viewed from a beautiful woodland and riverside walk and about 15 miles away, Launceston Castle was once a prison and has over 1,000 years of history.
