These charmingly restored cottages sit within a spacious courtyard amidst three acres of grounds, surrounded by countryside and farmland, on the edge of the pretty village of Uffculme. Dartmoor, Exmoor and Lyme Regis are all close by and it is eight miles from the market town of Tiverton, which straddles the River Exe.
There are several golf courses locally and plenty of opportunities to go riding at Williton and Ilminster. The surrounding area has some great restaurants and bars - from the Sanctuary Wine Bar and Restaurant in Taunton, where you can savour fresh, local fish to La Petite Maison in Topsham, an award winning restaurant that serves delicious seasonal produce such as Exmoor lamb and Somerset pork.
The beaches at Minehead and Lyme Regis are all within easy travelling distance and Williton is home to the Bakelite Museum which has interesting displays of the material in its many forms. At Haldon Forest in Exeter, the Centre for Contemporary Art and the Natural World explores our relationship with nature through the work of contemporary artists.
Pumphouse Cottage sleeps five people in three bedrooms - one double, one twin and one single - and has its own private rear garden. Stable Cottage is an 'upside down' cottage with the bedrooms on the ground floor and the bathroom and lounge/diner on the first floor, with access to an upper terrace.
