Set in the heart of the Cotswold Water Park, these Scandinavian timber lodges are luxurious, modern and contemporary with magnificent views over some of the 130 lakes within the park. Cheltenham and Gloucester are both within easy driving distance and Tewkesbury, an ancient abbey town between the Severn and Avon rivers, is well worth visiting.
Watersports and fishing opportunities abound on the 130 lakes on the park. There is a lakeside café where you can relax and enjoy the stunning scenery and some lovely walks right on the doorstep. Cirencester has great links to Bath and Bristol - and you can find hot air ballooning, golf, skiing and snowboarding in the area.
The market towns and sleepy villages of Gloucestershire are great places for exploring, eating and drinking and shopping. In Cheltenham, you can visit the Chedworth Roman Villa, a 1700 year old stately home, and the 17th century Sherborne Estate before eating in the stylish and contemporary Vanilla Restaurant. The Cotswold Water Park has 140 lakes set in 40 square miles of countryside.
Kingfisher Lodge is a contemporary lodge that sleeps six people in three bedrooms and has an open plan living area with leather sofas. Bullrush Lodge sleeps four and all the lodges have widescreen tvs and dvds with Freeview, dishwashers and washing machines.
