This picturesque setting is just 30 minutes by train from London so it's extremely convenient for visiting the shops, the shows and the sights of the capital. With its own 40 acre lake, the park has lots of walking and cycling and there are plenty of activities in the local area, such as skiing, snowboarding and water sports.
There are shops and pubs within easy travelling distance and from the park, you can explore the coastline and the glorious Essex countryside. There's plenty to see and do - from Mountfitchet Castle at Stansted-Mountfitchet, a faithfully reconstructed Normal motte and bailey castle, to Chislehurst Caves 25 miles away.

You can take a 1.5 mile ride on Lord Braybrooke's private railway through the estate woodland at Audley End, Saffron Walden and visit the fabulous gardens at Easton Lodge, Great Dunmow.
