The 28 acre Gadgirth Estate on the river Ayr boasts woodland walks and private salmon and trout fishing. Our Scandinavian style log lodges are located on the estate just ten minutes' drive from Ayr, a quaint village with excellent amenities and a lively nightlife.
The estate is tranquil and perfect for walking and other outdoor activities. Close by, there is delightful countryside and long sandy beaches as well as championship golf courses at Troon and Turnberry. Ayrshire is Burns' country and a trip to the Burns National Heritage Park is highly recommended.
Sample a taste of Scotland at the Enterkine Country House Restaurant, under a mile away, and enjoy a craft day at Craft Daft in Ayr. The Loudoun Castle Theme Park has rollercoasters and dodgems and you can feed the animals at the Heads of Ayr Park in Alloway. There's something for everyone to get involved in!
Gadgirth Lodge One is beautifully furnished, and sleeps two people in a double or twin bedroom plus additional sleeping for two in the lounge. There is a corner bath and sauna. Gadgirth Lodge Two is an outstanding lodge with an ensuite corner bath and a separate shower room.
