This is a relaxing and peaceful park with well-equipped caravans, many with enclosed patio decks for evenings in the dusk. A couple of miles from Ayr, a lively village with great nightlife, Crofthead is a good base for exploring the south west of Scotland.
Many of the caravans are brand new and the park has a children's playground, games room, a small shop for essentials and a laundrette. There is even a nature garden which the kids will love! A variety of restaurants and larger supermarkets and shops are within easy access.
Some of the best views in Ayrshire are to be found at Dundonald Castle, just nine miles away. If you want to try your hand at falconry, take a trip to the Kelburn Country Estate where there is a working pottery and a secret forest! And for a great meal out, Scotts at Troon offers locally sourced, freshly prepared food with lovely views towards Arran and Alisa Craig.
The TamOshanter caravan has two bedrooms, so ideal for groups of 4. All accommodation is double glazed and has satellite TV, DVD player, and radio. The Rabbie Burns sleeps 6 and has an additional toilet. Cots and highchairs can be hired.
