Get away from it all when you stay at a luxury lodge on the banks of West Loch Tarbert. For an excellent meal in relaxed and jolly surroundings, head to the Dunvalanree in Carradale where they have a varied and ever-changing menu. The Kelburn Country Estate in Ayrshire is home to the Earls of Glasgow and has a working pottery, a falconry, assault course and a secret forest.
