There is true peace and quiet in the seven acres of wooded hillside at Lagnakeil Highland Lodges. Overlooking Loch Feochan, these comfortable lodges have stunning views and beautiful walks right on the doorstep. It's a great location for a peaceful break but also quite central for touring.
As the 'Gateway to the Isles', the harbour town of Oban is sometimes also called the 'seafood capital of Scotland'. Just three miles away from Lerags Glen, it offers panoramic views of mountains, lochs and islands as well as unrivalled watersports, such as sailing, sub-aqua diving, canoeing and sea angling.
At Tobermory, concerts, events and workshops run from March to December, and The Oyster Bay at Cairndow has a traditional menu of home-made dishes. There is a great range of outdoor activities locally, such as kayaking and adventure days in the Scottish Highlands. Inveraray Jail is well worth a visit as you can get up close to the iron cages!
The Highland Conifer is a log lodge with two double bedrooms and one twin (or one double and two twins). The Highland Ash sleeps four people in two bedrooms. Bed linen and duvets are provided and cots and highchairs are free.
