Thorpe Park

thorpe parkThorpe Park is one of the UKs most exciting theme parks and home to some of the scariest rides in the world. SAW - The Ride is considered to be the ultimate theme park experience and is now enhanced by SAW Alive! These attractions combine a live action horror maze with a terrifying 100 degree 'beyond vertical' drop from a staggering height of 100ft. This ride is not for the faint hearted.

Adrenaline junkies have many other rides to enjoy including 'Unholy Trinity' where riders accelerate from 0-80mph in less than 2 seconds and Colossus the first rollercoaster in the world to include 10 loops. Other thrilling attractions include Rush - the world's biggest air-powered speed swing and Tidal Wave where riders are guaranteed a soaking!

Younger visitors have plenty of rides tot in the fantastic Octopus Garden area including Swinging Seashells, Ollie Octopus and Up Periscope. Families will love the fantastic Wet Wet Wet ride and the Neptune's beach area where kids can have a paddle and adults can relax.

Accommodation at Thorpe Park

There are lots of hotels within easy reach of Thorpe Park but we love the swish and exotic looking Savill Court Hotel & Spa which offers stylish and very comfortable accommodation just 4 miles from the park. The hotel boasts many facilities including The Forrest Bar, Orchid Restaurant and top of the range health club with a 15m pool, techno gym, sauna, steam room and a range of beauty treatments. Family rooms sleep 4 and full breakfast is included.

Beaumont Estate is another option and is less than 5 miles from Thorpe Park. The setting of the hotel is very tranquil and facilities include a 20 metre indoor pool, gym and tennis courts. There are also beautiful gardens to explore with nature trails and picnic areas. Family rooms sleep 4 and are spacious and very comfortable. Breakfast is also included.

We recommend booking the Superbreak Ticket and Hotel Packages which are easy to book online or by phone and are very flexible, so you can choose a hotel to suit your budget and convenient dates. Families can enjoy a 2 day pass to Thorpe Park and 1 night in the Beaumont Estate including breakfast for just £250 this September.
