Alton Towers is widely recognised as one of the best Theme Parks in the UK, offering tons of rides and attractions for the whole family. Many of the rides are world firsts including Nemesis, Oblivion and Air. The newest and scariest ride is THIRTEEN - This intense and thrilling ride will take you through a living and breathing dark forest and promises the most exhilarating theme park experience ever!
Those looking for more family friendly alternatives to the big attractions could opt for the exciting Sonic Spinball or the drenching Flume and Congo River Rapids. Younger visitors can head to Cloud Cuckoo Land and Adventureland where there are numerous rides for the little ones. Wobble World and Frog Hopper are firm favourites!
Other attractions this year include Sharkbait Reef by SEA LIFE where visitors can enjoy meeting marine life and exploring the underwater world. Old MacDonald's Farmyard is also popular with families with younger children who will love meeting the affectionate animals. If you are Lucky enough to visit Alton Towers between the 5th and 7th of November you can enjoy spectacular firework displays and later opening times.
Alton Towers Water Park is a separate attraction but one not to be missed of you are staying for a day or two. The stunning waterpark is packed with slides, chutes, pools and toddler areas. There are hundreds of interactive water features to enjoy making this a wonderful place to spend a rainy day.
